As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment, including a firearm, in accordance with applicable laws, training, Allied Universal procedures, and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
