Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol Observation in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or other authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.

• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized visitors and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate emergency services and/or site representatives when needed.

• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
