Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction of patients and visitors while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies; document incidents and observations accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• An armed guard card/license is preferred.

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

• A guard card/license is preferred.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
