What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor records, and following established access-control procedures.

• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, cameras, and communication equipment; report equipment issues and unusual activity according to site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
