Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Airport Traffic Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use clear communication and technology to document observations and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do
-
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or airport tenants while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report access-control issues according to site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as required.

Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, airport operations personnel, and/or law enforcement regarding incidents and observations.
Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
