Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Verification in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, vendors, and commercial deliveries.

• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

• Document incidents, access concerns, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
