Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Operations in Litchfield Park, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a fast-paced operation. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thu 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.

• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in or staging areas.

• Monitor access points, gates, and/or surveillance systems; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
