About the Role Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Installer Tech (union) to join our Roseville, MN team. This hands-on role installs, configures, tests, and services security systems for commercial customers, working within a union environment as part of our Field Operations group. What You'll Do
- Install, program, test, and service security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, intrusion) per project specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform system commissioning, and document work in service records.
- Follow safety policies and company guidelines; collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to complete assignments on schedule.
- Provide clear communication to customers and internal teams. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; hands-on experience with physical security systems preferred.
- Ability to read diagrams, wire layouts, and installation manuals; strong troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork; comfortable working in a field setting and within a union environment.
