Job Description As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
