As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will communicate clearly, document activity using computer or tablet tools, and respond professionally to security-related concerns while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility services location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, is required for Branch Flex positions.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to accommodate last-minute shift scheduling is required for Branch Flex positions.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
