Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed TWIC Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 PM - 06:00 PM Fri06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor requirements in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
