Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical campus events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a diverse educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
