Job Description
As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.

Communicate observations and incidents promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate emergency personnel as directed.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
