Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Morning Shift in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This position primarily involves driving.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
