Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused business location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear, accurate reports and shift logs.

• Minimum Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

• CPR Certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
