Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Bicycle Patrol Customer Service in Venice, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct visible bicycle patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with professional service and communication. Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Sat 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
