Security Guard
Supports physical security of company facilities, property and operations. Executes procedures and processes to provide protection for personnel and company property and meet required codes and regulations. Prevents access of unauthorized individuals to company sites or spaces and unauthorized removal or damage of company property. Maintains and updates visitor logs and completes incident reports. Operates camera and computer equipment to produce, activate and deactivate access to sites or spaces in accordance with established guidelines and directions. Monitors entrances and exits of buildings and/or performs walk-throughs of company property. Intervenes in case of robbery, vandalism and other risks to company personnel or installations. Coordinates activities with local police and emergency agencies as appropriate. Little or no knowledge of the job, acquires job skills and procedures to complete routine tasks. Has little judgement and decision making under close supervision. Typically less than 1 year of experience.
