Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or first responders when needed.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

• Maintain required reports and documentation, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and records of security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
