You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies, documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken through required reporting procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
