Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Perry, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting loss-prevention efforts. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing access materials, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control exceptions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
