Security Engineer
The Security Engineer is responsible for protecting enterprise systems, networks, endpoints, cloud environments, identities, and data from security threats. This position will implement and manage security technologies while supporting vulnerability management, incident response, detection engineering, cloud security, and security automation.
The ideal candidate has broad security engineering experience with strong exposure to cloud platforms, SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity security, firewalls, vulnerability management, and automation.
Key Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise security technologies.

Monitor and investigate security events, alerts, and suspicious activity.

Manage SIEM platforms and develop detection and alerting capabilities.

Support EDR/XDR platforms across enterprise endpoints.

Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.

Participate in security incident response and root-cause analysis.
-
Secure AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
-
Implement identity security controls including MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access.

Manage network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and segmentation.

Support Zero Trust security initiatives.

Automate security tasks and workflows using Python or PowerShell.

Perform security hardening and configuration reviews.

Support threat modeling and security risk assessments.

Work with infrastructure, cloud, networking, and application teams to remediate security risks.

4+ years of Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, or related experience.
-
Experience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk.

Experience with EDR/XDR technologies such as Microsoft Defender or CrowdStrike.

Strong understanding of incident response and security monitoring.

Vulnerability management experience using tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.

AWS and/or Azure cloud security experience.

Experience with IAM, MFA, SSO, RBAC, and privileged access concepts.

Knowledge of firewalls, network security, TCP/IP, and Zero Trust principles.

Working knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell.

Strong understanding of common security frameworks and attack techniques.
