Job Description

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to strengthen the security posture of a complex enterprise environment? We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to support security operations, incident response activities, and continuous security improvement initiatives.

Your Role

As a Security Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting and improving the organization's security landscape. You will investigate security incidents, implement technical security enhancements, and collaborate with various IT teams to ensure a secure and resilient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Implement security improvements and hardening measures
• Provide technical security advice and support
• Manage and secure Microsoft identity platforms, including Active Directory and Entra ID
• Support endpoint security initiatives and best practices
• Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Improve security documentation, processes, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and security teams
• Contribute to continuous security monitoring and risk reduction initiatives

Qualifications

• Required Skills

• Proven experience in Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Incident Response

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID

• Good understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and endpoint security

• Experience investigating and resolving security incidents

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment

• Nice to Have

• Microsoft Intune

• PowerShell or other scripting languages

• Security hardening experience

• Vulnerability management and risk assessments

• Experience with security assessment tools

• Experience creating security procedures and SOPs

• Relevant Microsoft or cybersecurity certifications

• Languages

• Dutch: Fluent

• English: Professional proficiency
