About this role

CWC is seeking a secondary ESS teacher to serve in the middle school department for the 2026-2027 school year. The ESS teacher is responsible for working with students, teachers, and parents to develop and implement ISPs, accommodations, and other needs associated with special services. This individual will also teach in small groups and assist with push-in and pull-out services. Teachers will assess learning through formative and summative measures, document progress, and communicate information in a timely manner to students and parents. They will maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment and adhere to CWC’s professional standards, while making disciples of Christ through their gifts and talents and implementing the educational program at CWC.

Develop and implement ISPs and accommodations for students with special services. Teach in small groups and assist with push-in/pull-out services. Assess learning through formative and summative measures and document progress; communicate with families in a timely manner. Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and adhere to professional standards; integrate the school’s faith-based educational program.

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. Wisconsin teaching certification and appropriate state/accrediting certifications. Strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently and respond effectively to classroom dynamics. Ability to communicate effectively as a writer and a speaker. Will enroll own school-age children at CWC, unless approved otherwise.
