About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Second Shift Tasker to expedite transactions through the warehouse management system and support outbound, inbound, or parcel functions. You will provide information and resolve issues with customers, carriers, and warehouse teams, ensuring smooth physical and system processes.
What You'll Do
- Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
- Monitor workloads using system screens and move tasks through the WMS.
- Work with operations to identify and resolve inventory overages, shorts, and damages.
- Schedule inbound carriers and outbound shipments; update communications accordingly.
- Generate and use system reports and audit sheets to track shift progress.
- Communicate with carriers to ensure seamless transactions; oversee parcel handoffs from dock to truck.
- Address data transmission failures by coordinating with customer IT and procurement; liaison with IT during system barriers; ensure complete shift turn-over.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Six months warehouse experience preferred; 0-1 years data entry/dispatch preferred.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work a second shift (4:00 PM–2:00 AM, Wed–Sat) and overtime during peak season.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to interface with IT and suppliers.
Nice to Have
- Experience with warehouse management systems and logistics coordination.
- Prior exposure to data transmission troubleshooting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay of $20.75 with a $1.00 shift differential (effective $21.75 per hour with differential).
