Job title: Second Shift Forklift Operator
About the Role Our Forklift Operators move stock within our warehouse, loading and unloading shipments of various sizes and operating material handling equipment to move goods where they’re needed.
What You'll Do
- Move stock from one area to another within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments of various sizes.
- Operate equipment such as stand-up, reach truck, dock stocker, and other material handling tools; the role may also involve sit-down forklifts, order pickers, clamp, electric pallet jack.
- The position is a mix of equipment operation (30-90% depending on production peak times) and material handling/loading/unloading duties.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment (required).
- Experience operating a stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck; first preference given to applicants with this experience.
- Experience operating other material handling equipment such as order picker (Cherry Picker), sit-down forklift, clamp, electric pallet jack is a plus.
- Preferred: 6 months experience using a commercial WMS (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with WMS or additional equipment is a plus.
- Strong safety awareness and attendance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $21.75/hour plus $1.00 shift differential; second shift Mon-Fri 4:00pm-12:30am; overtime as needed.
