Job title: Second Shift Forklift Operator
About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Second Shift Forklift Operator to move stock within our Livermore warehouse. The role emphasizes safe, efficient loading, unloading, and material handling to support daily operations and order fulfillment.
What You'll Do
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift)
- Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring exact quantity and type loaded
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Verify load accuracy; check load count, stability, and product damage, reporting variances as necessary
- Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Assist in physical inventories
- Complete daily inspection of equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Six months warehouse experience preferred
- A minimum of 6 months operating a forklift
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23.50 per hour base with a $1.50 per hour shift differential (total up to $25.00/hour)
