Job title: Second Shift Core Material Handler
About the Role Role Purpose: Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Also responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products, ensuring they are damage-free, product codes/dates are properly recorded, and products match customer requirements.
What You'll Do
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, or other powered equipment for up to 80% of the shift.
- Load and unload products, ensuring correct product type and quantity.
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues.
- Keep warehouse equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
- Follow OSHA and MSDS safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to spend 80% of time operating powered equipment.
- Basic warehouse knowledge.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
- Ability to work required shifts.
- Physical demands: may require up to 50 lbs for pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying; constant sitting and standing and operation of forklifts and other powered equipment.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $22.50 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential (total $23.25/hour).
