Job title: Seasonal Venue Event Manager
About the Role Vibee’s Seasonal Venue Event Manager oversees and coordinates events held at a specific venue, ensuring everything runs smoothly before, during, and after events. This role combines hands-on leadership with operational oversight in a fast-paced live‑event environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise the Vibee event team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and quality standards are met. Provide on‑the‑job training and guidance to staff on procedures and expectations.
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules, balancing workload within budget in collaboration with Project Managers, Producers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor staff breaks to comply with local labor laws and company policies; address staffing issues promptly and coordinate with HR as needed.
- Uphold safety protocols and maintain a risk‑free environment; manage timekeeping to ensure schedules and breaks are followed.
- Complete necessary reports or documentation related to incidents, operational issues, or customer interactions; address minor performance issues and escalate more serious concerns when needed.
- Oversee daily operational tasks to ensure efficiency and organization; monitor availability of materials, equipment, and resources and flag shortages to management.
- Handle customer or client concerns and complaints professionally and promptly to preserve the guest experience.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure successful event execution.
What We're Looking For
- Leadership experience supervising and guiding teams in live events or similar fast‑paced environments; ability to train, delegate, and supervise tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with experience creating staff schedules and coordinating with project managers; knowledge of local labor laws.
- Commitment to safety protocols and risk management; ability to promote a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities; adept at handling customer service issues and conflicts.
- Ability to work onsite in Las Vegas, NV and adapt to event schedules; comfort working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
