About the Role Seasonal RN in Logan Health Children's Pediatric Inpatient Unit in Kalispell, MT on the night shift. This short term opportunity supports pediatric inpatient care for a 13 week period with a 36 hour per week schedule. What You'll Do

• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized, goal directed nursing care for pediatric inpatients using the nursing process.
• Maintain nursing standards and respond to changing workloads and patient conditions by remaining calm, prioritizing, and asking for assistance as appropriate.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments, verbal and written, accurately and efficiently; consistently problem solve issues affecting patient care.

• Identify, evaluate and report changes in patients physical and mental condition; document encounters according to standards and nursing process.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health and medical needs per department protocol and area assignment; coordinate interventions as defined by policy and provider orders.
• Assess and anticipate patient needs and coordinate necessary interventions with the care team. What We're Looking For
• Current Montana RN license or compact license required.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric inpatient experience.
• RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire or transfer or before independent patient care.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• APHON must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer.
• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork; desire to provide care across the pediatric spectrum in a team based setting.
• Seasonal RN must have 2 years of applicable nursing experience to the unit assigned. Compensation & Benefits
• Seasonal Premium: 15% premium plus additional night and weekend shift differential pay.
