About the Role Seasonal RN in Logan Health Children's NICU in Kalispell, MT. The role provides primary care to critical newborn NICU patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation in a 12-bed Level III unit. This seasonal position supports patient care for a minimum 13-week period with added premiums and bonuses. What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized nursing care using the nursing process for assigned NICU patients.
- Transcribe and implement provider orders and treatments accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain patient safety.
- Document encounters, educate patients and families, and coordinate interventions per policy.
- Assess patient needs, coordinate timely interventions, and function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain regular attendance and demonstrate professionalism during night shift duties. What We're Looking For
- Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with MT authorization.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum two years of NICU experience in a similar role.
- NRP within 6 months of hire; STABLE within 1 year; RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and confidentiality requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office) and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team; maintain professional demeanor. Nice to Have
