About the Role This seasonal opportunity provides evidence-based nutrition care to oncology patients, aligned with professional standards and the Nutrition Care Process, while supporting Logan Health’s mission, vision, and values. You’ll deliver specialized oncology nutrition support in a patient-centered, team-based environment. What You'll Do
- Provide evidence-based nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process
- Assess, diagnose, and implement nutrition interventions for oncology patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and department meetings
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in the EHRE
- Educate patients and families on nutrition-related needs
- Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical nutrition projects What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- One of the following:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- RD-eligible (must obtain credential and Montana licensure within 90 days)
- Licensed Nutritionist through the Montana State Board of Medical Examiners
- Ability to obtain RQI Responder certification within 7 days of hire
- At least one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred Nice to Have
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism, empathy, and discretion in sensitive situations Compensation & Benefits
- 13-week full-time commitment required
- 15% seasonal pay differential
- $1,000 bonus at 30 days
- $1,000 bonus at 60 days
- $2,000 completion bonus
