About the Role Join Insomniac as a Seasonal Production Coordinator (Procurement). You will support the Procurement Department with purchase requests from key stakeholders, obtain vendor proposals via RFQ, and help identify cost-saving opportunities through side-by-side analyses. The role also requires coordinating end-to-end vendor contracting and working with accounting to identify new vendors and facilitate payments. The ideal candidate excels at researching, evaluating and contacting vendors and presenting service and rate comparisons to the Procurement team. This is a hybrid position with remote work, in-office time, and on-site events.
What You'll Do
- Support Procurement Dept Management Team with purchase requests from key departmental stakeholders and obtain proposals from vendors through RFQ.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings through side-by-side proposal analyses.
- Coordinate the end-to-end vendor contracting process and work closely with accounting to identify new vendors and facilitate payments.
- Research, evaluate and contact vendors (often over the phone) and present service and rate comparisons to the Procurement team.
- Maintain strong administrative skills: organizing schedules, project details, year-over-year cost analyses and other data consolidation; proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
- Follow directions, thrive in a fast-paced, teamwork-driven environment, and adapt quickly to last-minute changes.
- This position reports to the Procurement Dept. Management Team and is hybrid (remote, in-office, and on-site at events).
What We're Looking For

- Experience presenting service and rate comparisons to a procurement team.
- Solid administrative skills including organizing schedules, project details, year-over-year cost analyses, and data consolidation.
- Working knowledge of Excel and Google Suite.
