Pay rate – 65.00hr on W2
Location
- Open to candidates based in Findlay, OH, San Antonio, TX or Remote
- Remote flexibility but prefers someone local to above offices.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading and facilitating the agile development process and ensuring that the team follows the Scrum framework. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master and possess the necessary qualifications and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the agile development process, ensuring that the team follows the Scrum framework.
- Coach and mentor the team on agile principles, practices, and values.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and remove impediments that are preventing the team from achieving their goals.
- Work closely with the product owner to ensure that the product backlog is well-refined, and the team is working on the highest priority items.
- Ensure that the team is delivering high-quality products.
- Help the team to continuously improve their processes and practices.
- Communicate status, risks, and issues to product owner and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Deep knowledge of agile practices, SAFe framework, and techniques.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe SSM, or equivalent).
- Experience working with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or Rally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Lean, or XP is a plus.
- Ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
