Job title: Scrap Metal Processor
About the Role The role focuses on identifying, sorting, cleaning and sizing scrap metals for efficient use in melting processes for the TiAl team, and supplying cleaned alloys to melting areas. For LSBO operations, you will also process vacuum and air-melted ingots.
What You'll Do
- Receive metal parts/gates from casting and backend operations.
- Classify all metal using visual methods including gating systems, color, cutting behavior and spark test.
- Classify all metal using electronic methods (LSBO only), including spectrotest analyzer, Kevex analyzer and magnetic permeability.
- Cut, process and clean metals into sizes for the melting processes.
