Job title: SCIF Construction Specialist
About the Role
This role supports IC/DoD SCIF construction and physical security projects and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The successful candidate will work across multiple National Capital Region sites and apply IC/DoD classification guidelines to security-sensitive construction initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Work on SCIF construction and related physical security tasks.
- Apply ICD/ICS-705 classification guidelines and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Adhere to the 16 standard divisions of construction in project execution.
- Maintain a valid CST 40-hour (or greater) training certificate.
- Perform required physical activities and maintain fitness for on-site work.
- Collaborate with construction trades (electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc.) on security projects.
- Be flexible to work at multiple NCR sites as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Active TS/SCI security clearance, and either current CI Polygraph or willingness to take one prior to employment.
- Minimum 5 years construction experience or equivalent (security) with at least 2 years in SCIF construction or physical security.
- Knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines (ICD/ICS-705).
- Knowledge of the 16 standard divisions of construction.
- Valid certificate for completion of 40-hour CST Training Course.
- Ability to perform stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities for extended periods.
- Experience in construction trades (electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc.).
- Flexibility to work at multiple NCR sites.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $49.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week (base rate $44.00 + $5.09 Health & Welfare per hour) under Service Contract Labor Standards.
- This position is non-exempt; benefits include holidays, paid leave, health/dental/vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) with company match.
