Specific Education & Experience Requirements: 7+ years of relevant experience and a BS or BA degree in related scientific discipline.5+ years of experience with an MS.
Specific Job Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.Provide critical review and interpretation of protocols, data and study reportsActively support the integration of early nonclinical safety strategies throughout Research.Solve moderately complex problems requiring thorough scientific assessment.Effectively communicate project development plans and study results to project teams and Senior level managementTeam player who thrives in a high-speed environment where autonomy, accountability and innovation are critical for success.Excellent self-management and organizational skills, and ability to manage high volume workloadClear and concise, oral and written communication skillsStrong motivation, independence, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, matrix environment with minimal supervision.Good scientific expertise in subject area/discipline; familiar with other disciplines inside and/or outside of department (e.g., pathology, pharmacology,drug metabolism).Familiarity with ICH and GLP The salary range for this position is: $146,540.00 - $189,640.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
