Applicants should demonstrate:
- Proficiency in developing and/or applying established standard operating procedures to determine the presence of drugs, alcohol, poisons, biological fluids (i.e saliva, blood, semen) etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of underlying principles involved in analysis of biological samples, organic and inorganic substances including solutions preparation for use in testing and operating laboratory equipment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-recording tools
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team-oriented environment
