About the Role Amgen Field Scientific Advisor (Cairo region) drives patient access and product availability by developing strategic territory plans and delivering high-quality, compliant interactions with healthcare professionals to raise awareness of Amgen registered products’ efficacy and safety. You will respond to HCP product inquiries (on-label indications) and work in a role that requires deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, product knowledge, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compliance, documentation quality, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Territory and Account Planning: Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement effective territory and key account plans aligned with Amgen’s strategic objectives.
- Evaluate progress against plans on a monthly basis and propose actionable course corrections.
- Contribute to Teams to align on key account objectives and responsibilities.
- Customer Engagement and Compliance: Ensure customer-facing interactions are core to daily activity, master compliance guidelines, and build strong, value-based relationships with key stakeholders across hospitals, clinics, and retail settings.
- Internal Use Only General and Administrative: Coordinate omnichannel approach using Amgen tools; ensure channel integration; challenge non-compliant practices or violations and provide feedback; Speak up as standard behavioral expectation.
- Market and Business Insight: Demonstrate understanding of pharmaceutical industry trends and customer environments; identify market insights to inform territory strategy; maintain accurate reporting of customer activity and profile data within CRM.
- Sales Excellence: Apply Amgen’s Performance 4 Selling Model to optimize engagement and drive results; execute effective call planning, pre-call preparation, and post-call evaluation for registered products and on-label indications.
- Continuous Learning: Maintain ongoing knowledge of products and therapeutic areas.
