About the Role The Science and Technology (S&T) Innovation Director, Danaher China, will shape Danaher's innovation strategy in China, pinpoint opportunities with transformative technologies, and lead cross-functional and external collaboration projects to accelerate the company’s diagnostics, life sciences, and biotechnology platforms. The director will identify high-potential technologies and drive execution across internal teams and external partners. What You'll Do
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of Danaher’s three core platforms, technologies, and developmental pathways, and identify opportunities for integration.
- Build leadership in Oncology, Neurology, and Immunology; identify innovation opportunities across diverse clinical pathways.
- Pinpoint innovation technologies to streamline drug discovery, biologics production, and cell and gene therapy development.
- Identify and evaluate potential partners (pharma, biotechs, academia, hospital leaders, government entities) to introduce cutting-edge innovations to Danaher.
- Coordinate global and China cross-functional teams; lead BEACON, Nexus, Pioneer, and open innovation initiatives to deliver on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Drive collaboration with leading KOLs, publish in high-impact journals, and formulate clinical guidelines.
- Lead the Danaher China Innovation Community, engaging R&D and business leaders and providing S&T and innovation training.
- Cultivate new technical and business talents within the market. What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in Life Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
- Extensive experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical/Diagnostics industries; expertise with related applications and technologies, patents and IP.
- Proven experience leading meaningful R&D and/or Innovation functions.
- Established research track record as evidenced by publications and/or professional accomplishments.
- Experience in project management, partnership management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to combine scientific/technical and business knowledge, apply lateral thinking, and demonstrate strong business acumen with balanced decisions.
- Excellent cross-cultural interpersonal, organizational, communication and influencing skills in Chinese and English.
- Experience influencing stakeholders to effect change in a dynamic, complex environment.

- Ph.D degree in Life Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical/Diagnostics industries; Expertise with related applications and technologies, patents and other intellectual property.
- Experience having successfully led meaningful R&D and/or Innovation functions.
- Established research track record as evidenced by publications and/or professional accomplishments.
- Experience in project management, partnership management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to combine and apply scientific/technical and business knowledge, apply lateral thinking skills, and demonstrate strong business acumen with an ability to make balanced decisions.
