Role

• Our client is seeking an experienced and capable School Principal to provide effective academic, administrative, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and overall supervision of the school.
• Supervise teachers and monitor teaching quality and classroom performance.
• Ensure effective implementation of the school's academic programmes.
• Monitor students' academic performance, discipline and welfare.
• Develop and maintain high standards of teaching, learning and school administration.
• Coordinate staff meetings, academic activities and school programmes.
• Maintain effective communication with teachers, students and parents.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and established educational standards.
• Prepare and review academic and administrative reports.
• Promote a disciplined, professional and positive learning environment.
• Work closely with management to achieve the school's academic and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or another relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience after NYSC, preferably in school leadership, administration or teaching.
• Strong understanding of secondary school academic programmes and administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom and staff-management abilities.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be responsible, disciplined, dedicated and capable of working effectively with staff, students and parents.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide strong academic leadership.
• Candidate Residence: Must reside in Okota or its environs.

Remuneration

• Salary is negotiable, depending on experience and competence.
