- The School Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff. The nurse will provide first aid, monitor students’ health conditions, maintain medical records, and support health education initiatives within the school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Administer medications in accordance with school policies and parental authorization.
- Monitor students with medical conditions and special health needs.
- Conduct routine health screenings and assessments.
- Ensure the school clinic is adequately stocked and maintained.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and coordinate referrals to healthcare facilities when necessary.
