About us
Damen Shipyards Group has been in operation for over ninety years and offers maritime solutions worldwide, through design, construction, conversion and repair of ships and ship components. Its expertise and closely managed supply chain have been behind some of Damen’s most important deliveries to date, fully illustrating the group’s diverse product portfolio.
The role
We are seeking students from the Faculty of Naval Architecture in Galați to participate in our scholarship program. Over a period of 2 to 3 years, recipients will be granted a scholarship, and each summer, they will be employed for one month to familiarize themselves with the shipyard and acquire practical experience.
Key accountabilities
Maintain high academic standards and performance.
Attend classes regularly and participate actively in academic activities.
Ensure all required documents and information are submitted by the deadline.
Show commitment to completing the course of study for which the scholarship was awarded.
Demonstrate personal growth and development through involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and volunteer work.
Skills & experience
Student of Faculty of Naval Architecture Galați in third or fourth year of study
Good English knowledge
