About this role
About the Role The Schlosser will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and maintenance systems. This is an on-site, full-time role with a focus on preventive and productive maintenance.
What You'll Do
- Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot and repair production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Perform some plumbing maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills; experience with preventive maintenance.
- Able to perform some plumbing maintenance and physical tasks as needed.
