Job title: Scale Operator
About the Role This role supports Bachoco USA's Live Haul operations as a Scale Operator responsible for weighing trucks in and out, completing paperwork, and assisting with dispatch when needed. The position is part of our fully integrated poultry operations and contributes to safe, accurate, and timely movement of loads.
What You'll Do
- Weigh trucks (Live Haul, Feed Haul, In Town, etc.) in and out.
- Fill out paperwork and assist with dispatch if needed.
- Take phone calls and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Perform other tasks as requested by management.
What We're Looking For
- No prior experience or training required.
- Education and/or Experience: No prior experience or training.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s; ability to use units of American money and weight, volume, and distance.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Physical Demands: Regularly sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds; vision requirements.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $14.25 per hour.
- $1/hour weekly attendance incentive.
