• The anticipated pay for this range will be up to $160k. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

What you'll do

• Own solution design for Vistex, including Incentives & Paybacks (IP), Data Maintenance Pricing (DMP), and Data Maintenance Rebates (DMR).

• Design and configure chargeback, billback, rebate, and incentive programs end to end, from agreement setup through accrual, settlement, and posting.

• Participate in Business process workshops, engage with stakeholders.

• Conduct fit gap analysis & lead design workshops.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configure Vistex solutions within SAP ECC & SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Work with Transactional & Composite models.

• Understand the integration between SD/Vistex and other SAP modules.

• Conduct comprehensive impact assessments for change requests and enhancements by validating requirements performing fit gap analysis and recommending solutions that protect overall process integrity.

• Plan and execute Unit testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with key business stakeholders and power users.

• Set Vistex design standards and review work from internal consultants and vendor partners.

• Partner with EDI and integration teams on Vistex-driven transactions (844, 845, 849 & 867).

• Lead & manage the migration of Vistex solutions to S/4 HANA, including data migration, system configuration, and integration.

• Oversee testing phase to validate Sales processes, pricing accuracy, and rebate functionality post-migration.

• Lead continuous improvement efforts by utilizing insights from ECC & S/4HANA and Vistex implementation to optimize sales and pricing workflows.

• Ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and effectively implemented. Collaborate with the internal control and audit teams to identify and mitigate any control risks. Additionally, ensure compliance with SOX requirements to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and operational processes

• Manage Vistex agreement structures, eligibility, and deals management for customer and supplier programs.

• Build custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and smart forms specifically tailored to Vistex data models.

• Implement custom pricing routines, user exits, Business Add-Ins (BADIs), and Vistex-specific matrix/formula integrations.

• Troubleshoot complex accrual, claim, and settlement issues and drive root cause fixes, not just workarounds.

• Debug complex pricing calculation errors, optimize slow-running transactional logs, and perform root-cause analysis.

• Coach users and process owners through workshops and knowledge sharing sessions to improve understanding of SAP Vistex capabilities and to encourage efficient and compliant usage across teams.

• Mentor and train teams on ECC & S/4HANA Sales and Vistex best practices, enhancing the organization’s expertise in SAP-driven sales and pricing management.

• Prepare detailed documentation, Unit test scripts, SOPs and training materials.

• What you bring

• 12+ years of hands-on SAP SD & Vistex configuration experience.

• Deep expertise in Vistex IP, DMP/DMR, deals management, and chargeback/billback, accrual and settlement.

• Working knowledge of how Vistex integrates with SAP SD pricing and FI postings.

• Experience with Vistex-related EDI transactions in a distribution environment.

• At least one full-cycle Vistex implementation or major redesign in a lead role.

• Expertise in managing complex migration projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management within the SAP sales and pricing framework, ensuring compliance and system integrity.

• Experience with business facing skills.

• Comfortably working directly with Finance and business stakeholders and translating their needs into design.

• Clear communicator who can document decisions and walk non-technical folks through them.

• Embrace a mindset of continuous learning by staying informed about SAP advancements regional regulatory changes and industry leading practices relevant to Vistex.

• Nice to have

• Healthcare, Medical device, or Pharma distribution background.

• Vistex on ECC & S/4HANA.

• SAP or Vistex certification.

• SAP S/4 HANA transformations.

• Experience of working with offshore or vendor delivery teams.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex requirements.
