Job Description: SAP Sustainability Consultant (with EHS Support)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Sustainability Consultant to build and run our sustainability reporting, footprint management and data-exchange capabilities. You will lead topics such as CSRD compliance, emission and consumption factor management, renewable energy certificate processes and product carbon footprint (PCF) exchange. You will also provide support for the existing EHS landscape, covering job management, incident management, authorizations and logistics integration.

Scope of Responsibilities

1. Sustainability Reporting & Climate Management (Core)

• Support sustainability reporting in line with CSRD requirements

• Administer and report on climate measures

• Maintain consumption factor management and emission factor management

• Manage sustainability declarations

2. Tokenization & Certificate Management (Core)

• Configure and operate non-valuated and valuated tokenization (MB)

• Handle the Renewable Energy Attributes (REA) processes:

• GoO (Guarantees of Origin) purchasing

• Production

• Master data maintenance

• Cancellation of certificates

3. Sustainability Data Exchange (Core, POC Versions)

• Outbound:

• Digital Product Passport (DPP) via Cofinity-X

• Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) via Cofinity-X

• PCF via SiGreen

• Inbound:

• Via Cofinity-X

• Via the email-based approach

• Sustainability Data Share Mirror

• Contribute to proof-of-concept design, testing and the transition to productive use

4. EHS Operations & Support (In Scope)

• Manage EHS jobs (job management) and the activities that follow from them

• Provide B-level and C-level support for EHS tasks, including troubleshooting, change requests and incident follow-up

• Handle EHS incident management: recording, processing, escalation and closure

• Design and maintain the authorization concept: single roles, composite roles and business roles

• Ensure role assignments follow compliance and segregation-of-duties requirements

5. Logistics Integration

• Integrate logistics processes with PLM/QM, MM, PPE and FACT

• Ensure consistent master data and process flows across these modules

• Analyze and resolve integration issues between sustainability, EHS and logistics processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

• Hands-on experience with SAP Sustainability solutions, including sustainability reporting, footprint management, consumption and emission factor management, and sustainability declarations

• Experience with SAP data-exchange scenarios for sustainability (PCF, DPP, inbound and outbound)

• Experience with tokenization and REA / GoO certificate processes

• Solid understanding of CSRD and related ESG reporting requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP sustainability implementations or support

Additional Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of SAP EHS (incident management, job management)

• Experience with SAP authorization concepts (single, composite and business roles)

• Knowledge of logistics integration with PLM/QM, MM, PPE and FACT

• Knowledge of data-exchange platforms (Cofinity-X, Catena-X, SiGreen) is an advantage
