Job title: SAP Plant Maintenance Senior 1,2 TechOps (Application Management) Consultant
About the Role EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) TechOps team seeks an SAP Plant Maintenance Senior Consultant to provide functional support for SAP PM across regional and global client projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize SAP PM design to meet business requirements.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 2 or 3 Application Management Specialist.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP PM solutions and designs.
- Develop and maintain documentation including configuration, user guides and test scripts; ensure issues and requests are followed up in a timely manner.
- Handle change requests with understanding of new business requirements; perform defect resolution and defect analysis related to PM.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and SAP best practices to drive operational efficiency through automation and innovation.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems; be available to work on shift hours as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technology field or comparable job experiences.
- 4+ years of experience in SAP PM, preferably with global clients; at least 1 year of implementation experience.
- Experience providing support for SAP PM incidents; ability to analyze incidents and provide solutions; cross-functional communication; experience in offshore/onsite model.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance in a time-critical environment; flexibility in managing work hours including shifts and on-call for critical business requirements.
- Experience with decision-making, process optimization, resource management, and supervising team members as needed for task execution.
Nice to Have
- Good experience in SAP Plant Maintenance activities including PM, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Refurbishment and Warranty Claim Processing.
- Understanding of establishing equipment and functional location structures, maintenance BOMs.
- Experience in integration of Plant Maintenance with MM, QM and PP modules.
- SAP Certification in SAP PM.
