SAP Order-to-Cash Solution Architect

About the Role Corning's global Information Technology (IT) function seeks an IT Solution Architect for Order-to-Cash (OTC) systems to guide the transformation of our OTC technology landscape. You will work in a team of solution architects to design, enable, and lead IT capabilities aligned to roadmaps, providing expert alignment and support to Architecture and Service Owners. The role involves technical leadership in projects or product enhancements and oversight of end-to-end OTC processes within the supply chain. What You'll Do

• Align OTC system initiatives with the broader IT OTC landscape guided by a leading Architect by creating technical design from functional requirements and user stories.
• Lead agile teams that include internal and external IT sales or Logistics Execution experts to deliver the technical design, enhancements, and support.
• Support the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive roadmap for sales systems (specifically SAP ECC) to ensure scalability, efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancement within OTC technologies and processes, emphasizing business value through advanced process mining tools such as SAP Signavio.
• Coordinate enhancements with the IT PMO regarding the transition of end-of-life systems, aiming for minimal disruption and smooth deployment of new solutions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers in a technical consultant capacity, serving as a liaison between software vendors and internal IT teams.
• Build a network with subject matter experts inside Corning and act as the SME for sales processes, contributing to continuous improvement and delivery initiatives. What We're Looking For
• Substantial experience in supply chain IT and SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA for an upcoming upgrade, GTS or comparable processes).
• Demonstrated leadership of agile teams of SAP Senior Analysts delivering project solutions and minor enhancements.
• Ability to design, deliver, and maintain IT capabilities aligned with business requirements; hands-on experience with roadmaps and end-to-end OTC processes.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners within a DevOps framework.
• Knowledge of process mining tools (e.g., SAP Signavio) is a plus or highly desirable. Nice to Have
• Experience with SAP Signavio or other process mining tools.
