• We are looking for an SAP MDG Lead to join our Finance Centre of Excellence and oversee the quality, consistency, and governance of master data across our SAP Finance landscape. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll combine deep SAP MDG expertise with operational ownership, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.

• own the day-to-day maintenance, quality, and governance of finance master data, including GL accounts, cost objects, and business partner data

• design, configure, and continuously improve SAP MDG data models, workflows, and validation and derivation rules

• act as the escalation point for master data issues, resolving data quality incidents and driving corrective actions

• partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into governed, repeatable processes and controls

• define and maintain operational procedures, controls, runbooks, and service level agreements for master data management

• support finance transformation initiatives through data migration, testing, cutover activities, process automation, and knowledge sharing

• You'll join our SAP Finance Centre of Excellence, a collaborative team focused on delivering trusted, high-quality finance data across a diverse application landscape. We work closely with finance, technology, and business stakeholders to maintain strong governance standards, support transformation initiatives, and drive continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work independently, mentor colleagues, share knowledge across disciplines, and help shape the future of master data governance at UBS.

• Your skills and experience

• Extensive SAP experience, including significant hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

• strong experience configuring and supporting SAP MDG, including data modelling, workflow design, and validation and derivation rules

• solid understanding of finance master data objects and their integration with SAP Finance applications and SAP S/4HANA Finance processes

• knowledge of master data consumption across PAPM, FPSL, FSDM, Group Reporting, BW, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and related reporting and analytics platforms

• experience working with Ariba, Fieldglass, Concur, and other applications that consume MDG-governed data

• ability to define and operate data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, controls, and service level agreements across multiple applications

• experience supporting data migration, testing, cutover, or large-scale finance transformation programmes

• bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; SAP MDG certification is an advantage but not required
