As a SAP Full-Stack Developer, you will

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive SAPUI5/Fiori applications following SAP user experience (UX) standards.

• Build backend services, business logic, and application functionality using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js or Java.

• Design, develop, and integrate OData V2/V4 services and REST APIs to support seamless communication between applications and backend systems.

• Create, maintain, and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) data models and service definitions.

• Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability by following development best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) activities.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support application development, deployment, and maintenance.

What You Bring to the Table

• 6–8 years of overall professional experience in SAP application development or related software development roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori application development.

• Practical experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), using Node.js or Java.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and preferably TypeScript.

• Experience with CDS data modeling, service definitions, OData V2/V4, and REST API integration.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP, cloud-native application development, and application deployment.

• Experience with Git or Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure application development practices.

• Strong debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

You should possess the ability to

• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable SAP application solutions.

• Develop end-to-end SAP applications by combining frontend SAPUI5/Fiori development with backend CAP services.

• Design and implement effective data models, service interfaces, and API integrations.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on SAP BTP.

• Identify and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, developers, testers, and other technical teams.

• Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD processes.

• Maintain clear technical documentation and support continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
